OL: Why is the Easter story important to Christians?

WILF:

I can create links between the Easter story and feelings.

I can show thoughts and feelings through art and colour.

'Afraid yet filled with joy'

'Then he opened their minds'

'They knew it was the Lord.'

Above are quotes taken from verses, describing feelings and thoughts linked with the resurrection of Jesus. 

Using the quotes as inspiration, create a piece of artwork to represent Jesus’ resurrection.

This could be as simple as a pencil sketch or it could be abstract - simply show bright colours and patterns. It could reflect feelings, emotions and the message of hope and your artwork does not have to show Jesus himself; be creative!
