B Orchestra is our biggest, most inclusive musical group. Every single child in Year 3 and Year 4 takes part, all 120 of them! As well as making lovely music, they learn invaluable lessons in teamwork, discipline and enhance their maths with all that counting. We are so proud to offer this mammoth musical experience, we know that the children will always remember their playing in the orchestra and we hope it encourages a lifelong love of music.

Year 3 play recorders -by now they know their B-A-G and which hand goes at the top. [The left, the left.....] Year 4 play percussion and sing. Children from both years who are making good progress on the recorder play more challenging parts in Black Folders, and those who are learning other instruments have their first opportunity to play in orchestral sections.
